Glor na Nog FeisWe have a group of opur youngsters who have been learning the very 'Irish' arts of performance - singing and reciting especially. They gave been schooled by Desiree and Alice, and have developed a formidable range of expertise. Because the 2010 National Feis was in Christchurch and many families felt they couldn't afford of participating, we decided to hold our own 'mini-Feis'. So we had a large turn-out, abd a few ring-ins. John Desmond helped out on the accordion, a parents group who have been learning the tin-whistle, tootled a tune or two, and a number of dancers trotted out a step or two! And all this was a pre-cursor to our Halloween Pot-Luck Dinner! See what we mean below:
