Delaney School Of Irish Dancing
Since
August 2003 Delaney School of Irish Dancing has operated from the Hutt Valley Irish Society.
With the input of both dancers and parents Gail Collishaw has made the School one that all are proud of.
The Aims
The main aim of the school is to teach dancing in a fun-inspired way. In this way the School aims to promote the dancing in a positive light. Secondly, to provide another form of physical exercise which promotes coordination and confidence. Thirdly, to help and encourage the development of the dancer to what ever standard s/he wishes to strive for.
Class Times
generally, class times are between 4.30pm until 6.30pm each Sunday, apart from the last Sunday of the Month where they are between 2.30pm-4.30pm due to the Pot Luck Dinner at the Irish Society.
Classes are according to ability, so all children's levels are evaluated so they can be assigned to the appropriate level class.
